  • Registering multiple children? Please submit a separate registration per student

  • Keep an eye out for a short enrollment form at checkout to capture student details

  • Workshops run in 6-week blocks aligned with the school calendar

  • Explorer Workshops

    Learn the Fundamentals.‍ Recommended for students new to STEM or with little to no prior experience.

    Maker Workshops

    Apply Your Skills by Building. Recommended for students who have completed one or more Explorer workshops or have equivalent STEM experience.

    Innovator Workshops

    Create something new and learn to Lead. Recommended for students who have completed multiple Maker workshops or have significant STEM project experience.

  • We understand that plans can change.

    • Cancellations made more than 7 days before the first class will receive a refund less a $50 non-refundable registration and administrative fee per student, per workshop.

    • Cancellations made within 7 days of the workshop start date are not eligible for a refund.

    • Once a workshop has started, no refunds will be issued for withdrawals.

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method whenever possible.

    Please note:

    • The $50 registration and administrative fee is non-refundable.

    • Workshop materials purchased or prepared specifically for a student are non-refundable.

    • Approved refunds are typically processed within 7–10 business days.

    If STEM is Fun cancels a workshop due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances, families may choose:

    • A full refund

    • A credit toward a future workshop

    • Transfer to another available workshop description

  • When a workshop reaches capacity, students may join the waitlist at no cost.

    • Waitlist openings are offered in the order requests are received.

    • Families will be contacted if a space becomes available.

    • A registration is not guaranteed until payment has been received.

    • If a family does not respond within the timeframe provided, the opening may be offered to the next student on the waitlist.

    • If a workshop has sufficient waitlist demand and instructor availability, STEM is Fun may open an additional workshop section. Joining the waitlist helps us determine when additional classes should be offered.

  • Our workshops are hands-on, and each lesson builds on the previous one.

    For this reason:

    • No refunds or credits are provided for missed classes.

    • Missed classes cannot be prorated.

    • Students are encouraged to attend every session.
